Take Me For A Ride On The Big Green Tractor

Once the kids were done meeting the ponies, Brooks and Brayden insisted Pappy take them for a ride on the tractor. Pappy, I think we are going to need a bigger cab!! It was very tight quarters with Pappy and five kids, and on Febuary 17th we will have another addition. Brooks and Brayden will become big brothers that day as we welcome William Baylor Chipley. We can't wait to meet you Baylor!!

Look What Pappy Bought Us!!

Last night my Dad, Chad and Eli went and picked up two minature ponies for the kids. So, today after Bailey Katherine got out of school we took all the grandkids to meet them. They all love them and can't wait for Pappy to get their saddles so they can start riding. Bailey Katherine has even decided she is going to have pony rides at her birthday party! Right now they are being kept at my grandparents farm in Singleton, but Pappy has already started making plan to move them to his house so it will be more convenient for the kids. I can't wait to see them ride for the first time!!

MSE in Tunica

Friday afternoon Chad, Bailey Katherine and I traveled to Tunica for our second MSE competition. Eli was not feeling well, so my Mom offered to stay behind with him and Mamie. It was a special treat for Bailey Katherine to have a little get away with us all to herself. The girls did an AWSOME job and brought home a 2nd place trophy. Way to go girls!! Next weekend we will travel to Southaven for another competition.

We've got so much, so much, so much...

To Be Thankful for! Tonight I am reminded just how much we do have to be thankful for. As I sit here tonight I cannot get my sister-in-law, Melisa, off my mind. She is such a special person to both Chad and I and I just ask that you keep her in your prayers. She has been in Baptist Hospital since November 13 and has a long recovery ahead of her. I will be very brief about her condition. In Feb 08, she was diagnosed with colon cancer and has undergone several surgeries, chemo and radiation. On the 13th they found a perforation in her colon and had to remove almost her entire colon. She has been in ICU since and continues to make progress daily. So many of you have prayed for her and our family during this illness, and we appreciate each and every one of you. As you gather with your families on Thursday, I would like to ask you to say a prayer for Melisa at noon. Please ask God for strength and healing for her and knowledge and wisdom for her doctors. We serve a mighty God and I have faith that he will pull her thru this. Again, we cannot thank you enough for all of your thoughts and prayers during this time. If you would like to keep up with her progress, you can find her blog under my blogs I follow. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
